Screenplays
harley hay studios has a number of projects currently in various stages of production. Short films are the genre of choice, ranging from 1 to 2 minute mobile movies made to be viewed on cell phones, to 1 hour shows.
Generally all films are produced "on spec" for Festival competitions and screenings and broadcast on television specialty channels. They are most often created with out-of-pocket budget, made possible by many enthusiastic and talented volunteer cast and crew, and the generous support of the community and local business.
THE WORLD'S GREATEST BUSKER
Synopsis: A "typical" street musician sings cool songs that affect people in ways that are far from typical.
B.S.
Synopsis: "Bumper sticker wisdom" taken to new heights. Every word spoken by every character in the story comes from bumper stickers.
HIGH TECH
Synopsis: We've all seen those guys, all decked out with their high-tech gear - cellphone device sticking out of their ears, Blackberry in one hand, iPod in the other. This is what happens to those guys ...
SECRET WEAPONS
Synopsis: A couple of bumbling cops call upon a Top Secret and outrageously unusual group of crimefighters to take care of a bank robber.
THE GHOST
Synopsis: Another series of 3 short episodes featuring a teenaged female vigilante, dressed in ghostly white, with incredible acrobatic and martial arts skills that enable her to appear and disappear to help other teenagers in trouble.
PUCKHEAD
Synopsis: 3 Episodic mobile movie scripts - "The Purse", "The Store" and "The Bike" all featuring an unlikely superhero - "Puckhead" a chubby hockey fanatic who paints his face, wears a hockey sweater and a foam puckhead hat, and uses a hockey stick and puck to solve neighborhood crimes!
