Crew
HARLEY HAY: (Director)
'Friday Night' is Harley Hay's first feature as writer/director. He was Associate Producer and camera operator for two other films shot in Central Alberta: "Naked Frailties"
(nominated for 5 Alberta Film Awards), and "Pizney's Occupation" (a TV pilot comedy), and won an International Television Association award for his PSA commercial "The Deadly Chew".
He has been a professional drummer, a high school and college English teacher, and a TV news photographer/reporter. Harley has completed two full-length feature film romantic comedy screenplays, a short feature dramatic script, and two short screenplays, and hopes to be shooting at least one of these projects this year.

LARRY REESE: (Assistant Director)
Larry Reese began his film career in 1981 playing a lead in the Canadian
classic feature film, "The Hounds of Notre Dame". since that time he has
appeared in over a dozen features ("Unforgiven", "Wild America", "Dead Simple"),
TV movies ("In Cold Blood", "Oklahoma City", "Angel Flight Down"), recurring roles
in TV series ("Lonesome Dove", "Jake & The Kid", "North Of 60") and educational
TV ("Movies Worth Watching"). Larry has worked with the likes of Clint
Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, James Caan, Daniel Stern, Gene Hackman, Michael Ironside,
and Devon Sawa to name a few. His directing credits include two feature films, "Naked Frailties" and "To The Victor" as well as the docu-comedy "Pizney's Occupation". Larry is a member of ACTRA and AMPIA and is currently heading the acting stream of the Motion Picture Arts program at Red Deer College.
Larry and Harley have worked together on numerous films and projects.

Lenora Kingcott: (Production Manager, Actress, and Marketing Manager) For Lenora is all about multi-tasking, serving as production designer, actress ( Mrs Cooper ) and marketing manager for Friday Night. Her background in floral and interior design brought an attention to detail to the Friday Night set. She appeared in numerous Centre Stage Productions in the 80's but pursued a career in marketing as a trade show producer and advertising director. Lenora is the Executive Producer of the Bridal Network and coordinator / owner of Bridal Expo and Grad Expo in Calgary, Alberta.

Cory Olson: (Sound Designer)
Cory is not a doctor nor has he ever played one on TV. He is, however, an active musician and technician both on and off the stage. As a freelance bass player, he has played
in/for a wide variety of groups and productions on both double bass and electric bass. Cory currently works at the Red Deer College Arts Centre as the House Technician and
Stage Manager. It's through his work that has afforded Cory the opportunity to design both lighting and sound as well as work in film. He has designed lighting for such
shows as Bourne and MacLeod and Tri-Continental. Cory was the sound designer for the RDC Theatre Department's production of "Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet".

KATE MacANDREW ADAMS: (Jo Cooper)
Kate is a true "triple threat" - actress, dancer, singer - with over a decade of dance and classical piano training and a wide range of theatre experience as an actor, stage manager, and choreographer. A freestyle skier and former Student's Council President, she was the recipient of the Zone Festival Acting Award in 2001, and was selected to attend the Governor General's Youth Forum in Ottawa in 2002. Kate has received numerous Academic Achievement Awards, and is currently enrolled in the Theatre Studies Program at Red Deer College. |
DANIELLE HACHEY: (Sarah Cooper)
Danielle has been on the stage in one way or another since she was seven years old. From modeling, to Speaking competitions, to acting, she "never passes up a chance to be involved in any kind of performance." In 2002, Danielle was awarded the Female Outstanding Acting Award in the Zone Drama Festival. She is currently enrolled in a Business program at College, though she will always proudly classify herself as a "drama geek".

DAVID McKENZIE: (Eric MacCormack)
Currently attending Grade 11, David recently completed a 6-month run with the popular theatre group 'Butt Ugly', a touring educational anti-smoking awareness theatre production. He is a Youth Leader at the Parkland Christian Church, and is on the high school football team. Dave loves any opportunity to be involved in filmmaking.

BIANCA BROOKS: (Kristen)
The recipient of the 2002 One-Act Female Acting Award, Bianca has been acting since the age of ten. She brought every bit of that talent and experience to a key role in FRIDAY NIGHT. Everyone on set loved the fact that Bianca possesses what she describes as "unique energy" and a "frighteningly odd sense of humor". She is currently enrolled in the first year of Business & Commerce.

DUSTIN SNIDER: (Dan Ross)
Dustin is a high school student who, in addition to appearances in local films and theatre productions, sings, plays guitar and drums. He performed in the Butt Ugly theatre group and the Mascarade Drama Club, and in 2002 achieved the Rosebud Theatre Studies Highest Mark.

CARLY HENLEY: (Lyndie)
Carly began her acting career with Treehouse Youth Theatre at the age of ten. She has since appeared in a steady stream of productions including "Annie", "My Fair Lady", and Butt Ugly, and she was the lead in "Oliver" in 2002. An Honor Roll high school student, Carly also sings with the Christian Rock Band, "The Way".

SHAUN CORDINGLEY: (Terry Stoffer)
Shaun is also a Butt Ugly theatre troupe alumni, and he has acted in several local film and video productions. He is Captain of the LTCHS Improv/Theatre Sports Team, a member of the Sugarbowl Theatre Sports Team, and in 2002, he Co-Wrote, Co-Directed, and Acted in "Superstition", the Winner of Best Ensemble at the Zone 4W Drama Festival.

NATASHA WEENK: (Katie)
Natasha completed the Red Deer College Theatre Studies Program, and is currently enrolled in the Motion Picture Arts Program. She has a long list of theatre and short film credits, including the Lead in the musical "The Jazzcracker" and the film "Last Breath". This year, she is busy acting, directing and writing both film and theatre.

STEVEN ROADHOUSE: (Tim)
Steven Roadhouse is a twenty year old actor from Red Deer Alberta. He will soon be receiving his diploma in Theatre Performance from Red Deer College, and hopes to continue his theatre education and work towards his Bachelor of Fine Arts. Steve enjoys both theatre and film, some of his previous credits include Jack in The Importance of Being Ernest and Konstantin in The Seagull. Steve dreams one day of acting all over this beautiful country we call Canada taking jobs wherever they will have him.
